Schall & Rauch: More then just a Café...

The "Schall & Rauch" won the German interior design award.

The designer used Canadian maple and sand blasted steel with a scale armor coating for his minimalist design.

Only a few accessories off copper ennobling the arrangement – “ The interior is supposed to live and age”, says the architect André Nickel.

The inventory shows signs of use, but was made for eternity. Combined with a warm lighting, walls in light pastel and red bricks create a place with a warm and cozy feeling.

The restaurant offers space for approximately 70 guests. They take place on tables in dark gray steel with a light wooden plate. During summer the number off seats increases by 30 on our terrace.

The 17 meter (approx. 56 feet) long bar seats 30 people. The body of the bar is made of steel with a Canadian maple top. Our guests look toward a log shelf and beautifully crafted buffet. Above the bar hanging off the curved ceiling is a 22 meter long light installation.
